Pastor Doug and Carol Ohime have been with us since March, 2007. It has been a joy to get to know them, and we are looking forward to their ministry with us.

Carol grew up in the city, and Doug grew up in a smaller city, but neither of them have lived out in the country. They have already grown to love living with the river behind their house, and have found it to be a great place to sit, pray, and relax.

Doug and Carol love to ride their motorcycle in the summer. They enjoyed getting lost on the back roads around the area this past summer. They said, "What a beautiful area this is!" When the weather is nice again, feel free to contact them to go for a ride. The curch held its first motocycle ride last summer and is planning to hold another one this coming summer. Everyone is invited to join us!

They have found the congregation at Miami Baptist to be welcoming, loving, and really caring for each other and for the community as a whole.

Doug and Carol are loking forward to building our Youth programs and to go where God is leading our church. They are excited to start new programs like Joy Day and hope to be able to do more days during the year to give our community's parents a day off, and give the kids a day of fun and finding out what the Bible has to say.

They have four grown children and have seven grandkids. Their children live in Michigan and Indiana. None of them are local to this area.

We all welcome them to our church and our community! They are a wonderful addition to our family!
