Article VI

Installation

Officers shall take office on the first day of January of each year. (Exceptions: Superintendent of Church School, Assistant Superintendent, and A.B.Y. sponsors who take office September 1.) When vacancies occur during the year, the original nominating committees shall have the responsibility for nominating replacements.

Article VII

Meetings

Section I - Worship and the Lord's Supper

1. Stated meetings for worship shall be held each Sunday morning during the year unless otherwise voted by the Board of Deacons with the approval of the church.
   
2. Serving of the Lord's Supper shall be observed regularly the first Sunday of each quarter unless circumstances prevent, at which time the Board of Deacons shall select another Sunday in the quarter.
   

Section II - Annual Meetings and Quarterly Business Meetings

1. Annual meetings for the election of officers and for other business shall be held on the second Thursday of July and October each year.
   
2. Stated meetings for business shall be held on the second Thursday of January, April, July, and October of each year. Annual reports from all committees and boards shall be submitted in the January meeting.
   
3. The moderator, or six members of the Official Church Board may, by giving two weeks notice, call a special meeting of the church.
   
4. The quorum for church business meetings shall be fifteen members of the church.


5. Each active member, 15 years or older, of the church who is present shall be entitled to cast a vote at any time a vote is taken.
